Brookhaven Town officials have announced plans for the 6th Annual Health and Wellness Fair, scheduled for Saturday, May 16, at Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville.
The event, sponsored by JVC Broadcasting, will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Town Hall complex, located at 1 Independence Hill.
Town Supervisor Dan Panico said the fair is designed to connect residents with valuable health resources while also giving local businesses an opportunity to engage with the community. The fair will feature representatives from a wide range of health and wellness industries, offering information on services, preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices.
Attendees can also expect free giveaways and opportunities to speak directly with professionals about improving their well-being.
“Brookhaven’s Health and Wellness Fair is an excellent opportunity for both residents and local businesses,” Panico said in a statement.
“The event provides residents with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to take charge of their health and well-being.”
JVC Broadcasting will promote the event across its five Long Island radio stations and will be on-site during the fair conducting interviews.
Those segments are expected to air on 103.9 LI News Radio, helping extend the reach of the event beyond those in attendance.
John Caracciolo, president and CEO of JVC Broadcasting, emphasized the importance of community engagement through local media partnerships.
“Local radio is at its best when it’s serving the community, not just talking at it,” Caracciolo said.
“This is about real people, real resources, and real impact—connecting our listeners with the information and services that can truly make a difference in their everyday lives.
”Health and wellness businesses interested in participating in the fair can apply through the town’s registration link at BrookhavenNY.gov or contact the Department of General Services for more information about the upcoming event.
