TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Horizon Health will be offering a free Heartsaver CPR/AED class at their clinic in Terre Haute.
The Sycamore Health & Wellness clinic is hosting the class specifically for the community and teaches basic CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The AED is a device regularly used in cases of life-threatening cardiac events. The course will not cover basic first aid; however, it can be arranged separately.
The class will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on April 17. To register for the class, you can visit this link. A credit or debit card is required to register and the card will be charged a $25 fee to reserve a seat for the class. The money will be returned after completing the course unless you would like an official CPR/AED certification card from the American Heart Association.
