MusiCares’ 2026 Wellness in Music Survey is open through April 17, available in English and Spanish to music professionals across all roles and genres. The anonymous survey has served as a year-over-year measure of health, financial stability and well-being among music professionals since 2020.
Last year’s findings pointed to persistent challenges that include financial instability, inconsistent healthcare access and the demands of touring, along with ongoing mental health concerns. MusiCares uses the data to shape its assistance programs, which have totaled more than $135 million to date. In 2025, the organization distributed over $17 million in support spanning mental health care, addiction recovery, emergency financial assistance and disaster relief — including aid to music professionals affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
