With the cost of gas and groceries, and just about everything else on the rise, you may have had to cut back on a few things.

Maybe there’s a gym membership or that piece of workout equipment you wanted. Starting soon, the City of Grand Rapids is giving you a chance to get moving for free with its outdoor fitness program!

Back for its 11th year, the city is offering 16 free classes in parks and public spaces across Grand Rapids. Whether you are a beginner or looking for a more intense workout, there is something for everyone. Choose from yoga, cardio, dance, and more.

Classes are Monday through Thursday starting Monday, May 11 through Thursday, August 20. They’re all free and you don’t even need to register! Some of the new offerings this year include Mat Pilates, Hip Hop Barre, Total Body Power, and Circuit Training.
