GRESHAM, Ore. — Lift Each Other Empowerment, a nonprofit established March 23, 2026, is working to expand access to wellness through a technology-driven and community-based approach. Co-founders Zach VanStory and Nick Justice told SW Newsmagazine, “We created the organization to address gaps in traditional wellness spaces, particularly for people who may feel excluded from standard fitness and mental health models.”

At the center of the nonprofit’s work is AdaptivLyfe, a wellness app developed under VanStory’s leadership. The platform combines adaptive fitness options, mindfulness tools, and community features aimed at meeting users where they are physically, mentally, and emotionally.

The app is designed with an emphasis on accessibility, including support for adaptive athletes and neurodivergent individuals.

“We wanted AdaptivLyfe to reflect the diversity of real life,” VanStory said. “Wellness shouldn’t be something people have to fit into — it should grow and adapt with them.”

Early users have begun testing the platform and providing feedback, which the founders say will help guide future updates.

The organization is currently in its startup phase and relies on fundraising efforts to support operations and development. Donations and small-scale campaigns are being used to cover initial costs and expand the app’s capabilities.

Donations can be made through the organization’s website, lifteachotherempowerment.com, and the app at https://adaptivlyfe.app. VanStory and Justice are also working to build partnerships with community organizations and businesses, though those efforts remain in early stages.

Additional information about the nonprofit and its work is available at lifteachotherempowerment.com. The founders said, “We hope to expand the organization’s reach over time, including developing in-person programming and increasing access to inclusive wellness resources.”

VanStory and Justice stated, “A commitment to making wellness accessible to a broader range of people guides the organization.”
