CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Some state employees in West Virginia stepped away from their desks and got outside Tuesday afternoon.
Employees at the Capitol building in Charleston took a walk with their co-workers as part of the Mountaineer Mile.
Tuesday’s event was hosted by the West Virginia Public Employees Insurance Agency and Personify Health.
Organizers tell us it’s a great way to get some activity in while having fun with your colleagues.
The first 100 people to register for Tuesday’s event got to take home a Mountaineer Mile t-shirt.
