If you’ve ever taken a class at YogaRenew in Hoboken (or went to our Women’s Networking Mixer back in Feb!), you already know the vibe: welcoming, community-driven, and just the right balance of grounding and energizing. Now, the beloved local Hoboken studio is taking that energy to Maine with a weekend escape that feels like the ultimate reset. This June, YogaRenew is heading to Maine for a nature-filled retreat that blends yoga, hiking, great food, and plenty of time to just be. (Honestly, it sounds like the kind of weekend we all need.) Read on to learn more about YogaRenew’s Maine Wellness Retreat, a rejuvenating escape designed to reset both mind and body.

YogaRenew Retreats = INCREDIBLE (truly!)
YogaRenew has built a loyal following in Hoboken thanks to its approachable classes, experienced instructors, and focus on making yoga accessible for everyone. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned yogi, the studio is super welcoming.
This retreat is an extension of that same philosophy, just in a totally different setting. Think fresh air, open space, and a slower pace that’s hard to come by in everyday life.
Leading the experience is Patrick Franco, bringing his signature style that blends movement, mindfulness, and a little bit of playfulness. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about showing up, trying something new, and maybe surprising yourself along the way.

The itinerary strikes a balance between structure and flexibility, which is exactly what you want on a getaway like this (and this isn’t YogaRenew’s first rodeo; they’ve hosted retreats in Europe for the last few summers, so they know their stuff!).
Mornings kick off with yoga, before the day begins. From there, afternoons are all about exploring. That might mean hiking through scenic trails, stretching out in the grass with a good book, or taking in Maine’s peaceful nature and scenery.
Evenings shift into a more reflective space, with time to journal, unwind, and connect. And yes, there will be great food. Because let’s be real, no retreat is complete without meals that you actually look forward to.
The Vibe: Open to Everyone
One of the best parts about this retreat is that it doesn’t take itself too seriously. While there’s definitely room for deeper moments and reflection, the overall energy is fun and casual.
You don’t need to be an expert in yoga or meditation to join (trust us, because we’re not). You don’t need to have everything figured out. This is truly about stepping away from your usual routine, trying something new, and giving yourself time to recharge with (new) friends.
And yes, you can go solo OR bring a friend…it’s always a mix at YR retreats!
Why Maine?

There’s something about being surrounded by nature and doing yoga, and Maine is such a quaint mix of beauty and adventure, making it an ideal backdrop for a wellness weekend. And for us city dwellers, it’s a refreshing change of scenery that doesn’t require a huge time commitment.
Who Can Join
Short answer: pretty much anyone(!).
If you’ve been feeling a little burnt out, craving a break, or just want to shake up your routine, this retreat is IT (plus the people of YogaRenew are just the best). It’s also a great option if you’ve been wanting to deepen your yoga practice or connect with like-minded people outside of a studio setting.
Even if you’re just in it for the hiking, fresh air, and good vibes, you’ll fit right in. Yoga is always optional.
