You might not expect it, but Judge Rinder is a total fitness fanatic, and the former Strictly Come Dancing star wowed his followers this week with a saucy selfie from the gym.
The 47-year-old looked incredible as he showed off his toned abs and pectoral muscles as he posed with a set of weights behind him. The star looked like he could be in the military with his physique, and this was amplified as he rocked a buzzcut and a set of dog tags.
In his caption, the star wrote: “Hard work, soft lighting,” as he also flexed in order to show off his large arms.
The star first shocked fans with his muscular physique when he competed on the 2016 series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Oksana Platero. In his first dance, a steamy cha-cha-cha, the judge ripped the buttons from his shirt exposing his toned body.

Judge Rinder’s fitness journey
During an appearance on Loose Women back in 2017, the star admitted that he used to be incredibly unfit, but that deciding to run the London Marathon helped to get him into shape.
He confessed on the programme: “I got rather big. I was struggling with how I was feeling and used to eat. I wanted to get fit, it wasn’t about how I looked, but more about my mental health. With working out, you get this endorphin rush, which helped me concentrate and focus. Fitness helps with everything else.”

Alongside a picture of himself before his transformation, he added: “I had to be self-disciplined. I think, with weight loss, you have an epiphany moment and, for me, it was seeing that picture. I just wanted to get healthy.”
In an interview with Female First, the star shared: “When I was at university, I was too busy reading Proust instead of doing press ups. Even now, it depends what sort of mood I’m in. If I’m on the beach. I might not take my top off, [I might] feel a bit gross.

“I go to the gym every day, but I don’t necessarily go to look a certain way. I go really because my connection with exercise is about my sense of mental well-being.”
