A benefit SINGO night at the OAKS Nutrition Center, hosted by the Adelphians, will offer food, music-based games and social time at the center on Thursday, April 16.
The evening is expected to include soup, finger foods, dessert, and a silent auction, as well as, rounds of SINGO, a game that pairs songs with bingo-style cards, with organizers encouraging residents to “come join us for an evening full of delicious food, fun SINGO games, lots of laughs and great company.”
The Adelphians are organizing and staffing the benefit, with the OAKS publicly thanking “these wonderful ladies for all their hard work and support” in helping stage the fundraiser.
The Kennett Business Women’s Club is sponsoring the auction.
The SINGO night adds to a growing list of community fundraisers supporting the OAKS nutrition center, which has relied on local events and donations after funding strains affected its senior meal services.
Ticket prices are $30 and doors open at 5:30. For updates, organizers asked supporters to like, share and follow OAKS posts on social media and to watch for future announcements.
