Harvest fitness, fun and food at this local festival

VegFest Expos has announced the return of Columbia Vegfest, coming to Segra Park on Sunday, May 3, from 12–5 p.m.

Now in its third year since its establishment in 2022, this year’s event is set to grow even more, as VegFest Expos has teamed up with John “The Bodybuilding Vegan” and The Vegan Squad to bring a new twist to this year’s festival.

Attendees can look forward to live fitness classes, bodybuilding demos and interactive wellness workshops throughout the afternoon.

“Columbia VegFest is more than just a food festival; it’s a celebration of a movement that is inclusive, diverse and welcoming,” said Helene Greenberg, founder of VegFest Expos. “By bringing together the best vendors and local makers in the Southeast, we’re showing that a compassionate lifestyle is vibrant, strong and delicious” Greenberg said.

The event will offer a plant-based feast of over 50 vendors featuring the region’s top vegan food trucks, innovative meat alternatives and decadent dairy-free treats.

A dedicated Family Fun Zone featuring the Segra Park Bounce House Park will also be on the scene, as well as an eco-friendly marketplace where guests can shop local for cruelty-free skincare, apparel and handmade goods.

Columbia VegFest is a rain-or-shine event. Free parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to Segra Park.
