THE WHAT? Vietnamese vegan beauty brand Cocoon has launched in France and across Europe, marking its entry into one of the world’s leading beauty markets.

THE DETAILS The expansion follows a March 2026 partnership with European distributor Orien Trade and includes the opening of Cocoon’s first Paris pop-up store, running until April 21. Entry into the European market required over two years of preparation to meet strict EU regulatory standards, including GMP certification and CPNP registration. Cocoon’s products, which are 100% vegan and feature locally sourced Vietnamese ingredients, will gradually roll out across major cities in France. The Paris pop-up also introduces Vietnamese “sidewalk café” culture as part of an experiential retail concept. Prior to this move, Cocoon was already present in 15 Asian markets and now operates in 45 countries and territories globally.

THE WHY? The expansion reflects Cocoon’s ambition to scale internationally, bringing Vietnamese beauty and sustainable, plant-based formulations to global consumers while tapping into Europe’s high-value cosmetics market.
