Get active this May and June with Healthy Huntsville’s Fitness in the Park series, offering free and diverse weekly workout sessions.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Healthy Huntsville is bringing back its popular Fitness in the Park series in 2026, offering free weekly workout sessions across city parks throughout May and June.
The program kicks off Saturday, May 2, with a dance fitness class at Big Spring Park West, followed by the Mayor’s Bike Ride. Sessions will be held 9 to 10 a.m. each Saturday and will feature a different workout and instructor each week.
Organizers say the goal is to help residents of all fitness levels get active and explore Huntsville’s parks in a welcoming, community-focused setting.
“We’re excited about the variety in this year’s Fitness in the Park schedule,” Huntsville Parks & Recreation Wellness and Fitness Coordinator Kevin Ready said. “It’s a great opportunity for people of all fitness levels to get active and explore different fitness opportunities.”
