LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – A major health and wellness event is happening in Lynchburg this weekend.
The Thrive Health and Wellness Expo will take place at Liberty University’s Indoor Track Complex.
The two-day event will include over 60 local vendors, a 5k race, and more.
Packet pickup for the race and the vendor expo will be on Friday evening.
The Run for their Lives 5k is happening at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the Expo continuing after that from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“Health and wellness can be one of those things that feels super overwhelming,” said Lauren McQuillam, Freedom 4/24 Events and Education Coordinator. “It’s helpful to vet and look at ‘what are the top priorities for me right now?’ Having everybody in one room makes that a possibility.”
Admission is free and open to the public.
