Adelphi University hosted its annual Women’s Leadership Conference at its Garden City campus, drawing nearly 400 attendees.

Designed to empower attendees to navigate change and achieve their goals, the conference opened with a keynote from Nataly Kagan. A former Russian refugee who learned English by watching 1980s sitcom, “Who’s the Boss?,” Kagan overcame early struggles with poverty to become a successful tech CEO and founder of the social network Happier.

Six additional breakout sessions held throughout the day provided actionable leadership strategies.

The evening awards dinner featured Target executive Irene Quarshie in conversation with “High School Musical” actress and youth advocate Monique Coleman.

SCWA has been supporting the center with water bottle donations since 2018 and is continuing its mission to deliver not only high-quality drinking water, but also public outreach that benefits the next generation.

Signature Premier Properties’ community giving initiative, Signature Cares, supported a “Spring into Easter” celebration event where volunteers assembled approximately 300 Easter baskets at their offices and which were then given to Helping Hand Rescue Mission at the Huntington Assembly for distribution to children under the age of 13 in the Huntington community.

Two other “Spring Into Easter” events were hosted by volunteer groups as well as six other organizations. This enabled Helping Hand Rescue Mission to extend their reach beyond the 500 families that they help regularly. The total number of Easter baskets distributed in 2026 surpassed 1,000.
