DUBLIN — The Dublin Unified School District (DUSD), in partnership with the National Fitness Campaign (NFC), has unveiled a new outdoor Fitness Court with digital wellness programming at York Alternative Learning Center, 6901 York Dr.
The NFC Fitness Court, at the west end of the track between Wells Middle School and the Valley High School campus, is designed to provide a full-body workout in just seven minutes.
Open to the public, the NFC Fitness Court is part of a nationwide initiative to remove barriers to exercise and increase access to wellness resources.
“We know that access matters when it comes to health and wellness,” said DUSD Superintendent Chris Funk. “By bringing a Fitness Court and supportive programming into our community, we are helping remove barriers and ensuring that more students and families have the opportunity to engage in regular physical activity.”
