LOUISVILLE, Colo. — AdventHealth Avista’s 9th Annual Wellness Luncheon, held April 2 at the Omni Interlocken Hotel, brought together more than 400 community members for an inspiring morning dedicated to advancing women’s health. As the largest luncheon to date, the event continues to be a powerful tradition rooted in connection, compassion, and purpose.
Featuring impactful stories and a motivating message from keynote speaker Jerry Schemmel, attendees left encouraged to “Just Keep Moving” – a theme that resonated deeply throughout the event.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of attendees, sponsors, and the support of the Foundation Board and Planning Committee, the luncheon raised $90,000 toward the Invenia ABUS Premium, an AI-enabled ultrasound system designed to improve early breast cancer detection. This technology is especially important for women with dense breast tissue, representing more than half of the Avista service area, and will help bring earlier diagnoses and better outcomes to our community.
Each year, the Wellness Luncheon directly supports innovative advancements in care, from surgical technology to women’s health treatments – and continues to make a lasting impact on patients and families across northern Colorado.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this meaningful event and helped move us closer to our goal. Together, we are creating a healthier future for women in our community!
