Wednesday, April 22, we will have Becky from Legacy Hospice with us for BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS and a door prize drawing. We are excited to have the blood pressure checks back on the calendar. Becky will be set up by 10:30 a.m., so stop by to see her.
We regret to inform you that the FOOT CLINIC on Thursday April 23 has been CANCELED for this month, as Cathy is not able to make it. Friday, April 24, we will be celebrating the April birthdays with a special dessert and ice cream. If your birthday is in April, we would like to celebrate you! The birthday celebrations are on the fourth Friday of each month.
As per the mention of our client in another column, regarding the need for baked chicken instead of fried, we reached out to the client to see if he would prefer baked meat. We are here to do everything we can to meet the needs of our seniors. We cannot address the issues if we are not aware of them. So, thank you.
Monday, April 27, the SENIOR COMMODITY BOXES will be delivered to the Nutrition Center. Please make arrangements to pick your box up as soon as is convenient. We appreciate your attention to this matter.
The Nutrition Center is currently raffling a 12 gauge 20 inch barrel shotgun, which folds. The gun comes with two differing chokes, and adjustable chin guard. The rifle was donated by John Cox to help the Center with the needed income revenue. The drawing for the gun will be June 19 at the Nutrition Center, just in time for Father’s Day. The tickets are $20 for one ticket or $100 for six tickets. The gun retails for $599-$799. Stop by to purchase your tickets.
