IRON RIVER — The Iron Area Health Foundation sponsored a Wellness Wednesday presentation for community residents Wednesday at Young’s in Crystal Falls.
The presenters for the event were Teresa Sabotta, PT, DPT, CLT, and Emily Isaacson, PTA. They shared information on exercises that an individual can do without a gym or trainer to enhance or maintain their physical fitness and mobility.
The movements that were shared can be done on land or in a pool or lake. The exercises and movements were tiered for levels of fitness and age. Handouts were provided to the attendees so they can follow up once they leave the presentation.
The event was well attended by local residents. The IAHF Wellness Wednesday events are scheduled for the third Wednesday of the month from October to April.
