The Carnivore Code has arrived and it’s already a bestseller!! Get it here: www.thecarnivorecodebook.com

In this snippet from my podcast this week (Fundamental Health, available on iTunes, YouTube, everywhere) with Ivor Cummins @thefatemperor we discuss EuroMomo data regarding all cause mortality throughout Europe and compare to previous winters. As Ivor notes, all cause mortality rises every winter- probably due to lower vitamin D/sunlight (and later in this podcast we go into detail about the strong connections now being drawn between low vitamin D status and more severe COVID outcomes, as well as previous flu data) – and the last two winters have also seen significant rises above average mortality but we didn’t bring the world’s economies to a screeching halt for this. We don’t have all of the data yet for this COVID season but the way the numbers are trending suggests that we may see 2-3x 2018 and 2017 increases in all cause mortality this year. Certainly nothing to ignore, and all of this loss of life is tragic, but do these numbers really justify the global response to this virus we are seeing now? Do they really justify the profound economic turbulence now and to come? Do they really justify 36 million unemployed in the US alone? Some will contend that these numbers would have been higher without lockdowns, but I would disagree with this and we discuss this in detail in this podcast. Numbers from Sweden and many other locations that did not lockdown strictly but instead opted for responsible social distancing without stopping the economy are similar to places where a lockdown was enforced. Though politicians on all sides want us to believe that lockdowns save lives, I’m far from convinced of this and fear that in the end lockdowns will cause more loss of life. As I’ve said before- the cure cannot be worse than the disease! In this case I fear it is, and continues to be. Time to end the lockdowns? What do you think of all of this?
