Dr. Ashish Jha of Harvard’s Global Health Initiative told PBS NewsHour’s William Brangham that studies show most people recovering from COVID-19 produce some form of protective antibodies. Jha suspects that immunity for that person should then last 12 to 18 months. Jha and Brangham took audience questions on May 21 about when and how the U.S. should approach reopening.
