Kim & Sam are both Estheticians in South Florida. In mid May their Governor gave the green light for personal care service businesses to “responsibly” reopen.

The ladies discuss some of the ways they plan to take precautions in Phase One when opening up their treatment rooms to clients. Both Estheticians plan to do Soft Re-openings June 1st.
Some changes that are being planned are:
@4.14 Stagger their bookings
@5.37 Kim has been going to her salon before her reopening to make sure that things are in place, clean , sanitized, her tools are disposable, masks and gloves are being stocked up.
@6.38 Prescreening, client forms / questionnaires relating to Covid 19 symptoms will be sent out online prior to appointments. Clients will no longer be allowed to wait in the waiting area for longer than 5 minutes before their scheduled appointments. – No Waiting in Spa clients who arrive early will have to wait in their car.
@7.42 No contact Thermometers will be used prior to the appointment when clients reach the door. Clients are required to enter with a mask, Kimberly will be giving her clients masks at the end of their treatments also.
@8.55 No call, No Show, Cancellation, rescheduling Fees will be waived for clients who are experiencing Covid-19 like symptoms.
@11.06 Clearance slips in the form of a Doctors note is required from clients who have had to cancel their appoitnemtns as a result of being diagnosed with Covid-19.

@11.55 Per the Esthetic guidelines there will be less customers being serviced per day due to the 30 -45 minutes cleaning time needed in between clients. Kimberly plans on seeing 4-5 clients per day.
@14.22 Extra sanitation certifications have been taken by Kimberly to give clients additional reassurance.
