Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat announced on Tuesday (May 26) that Singapore will create more than 40,000 jobs in the public and private sectors, and that the Government will provide an incentive for employers to hire local workers who have gone through eligible training schemes. There will also be traineeships for mid-career jobseekers.
