Hi everyone! I’m Arianna, aka @thewellnessstudent on Instagram. I’m a Registered Associate Nutritionist (Anutr) in the UK. On Tuesdays, I do segments called ‘Tuesday Talks’, where I discuss the current scientific evidence surrounding different topics in nutrition. I decided to branch out instead of writing behind a post and make a video this time! So today, we are talking about nutrition and acne, and how the diet might influence the formation of acne. I absolutely LOVE this topic because I feel like I’ve gained such an deep understanding of skin health in my long journey with my skin, when considering both nutrition and topical treatments. I’ve had a couple messages from people wondering what the current evidence is between diet and breakouts so I hope I can help a few of you. I just want to say that what I’ve mentioned it just evidence

I really hope it all makes sense because I had to re-film it a couple of times for you and at this points it has meshed into one for me! This is my first video ever so I might be a little awkward (me and my slug eyebrows) but we can only get better from here!

Thanks for watching!

Also just a bit of a disclaimer – I’m not a skincare professional at all! I just have figured out what works best for skin when it comes to nutrition and topical skincare. So if you are going to try out any of these tips, make sure you consult your doctor first!
