Vitamin C is a staple in my skincare regimen. I have been faithful to SkinCeuticals Phlorectin CF serum for almost 2 years. The light weight formula helps get rid of dark marks and blemishes left behind from acne.

The Breakdown:

C E Ferulic: Ideal for sensitive, normal or dry skin. Vitamin C and E combination works synergistically in this formula –
1. 15% L-ascorbic acid – Vitamin C
2. 1% alpha tocopherol -Vitamin E
3. 0.5% ferulic acid – Antioxident extracted from rice bran oil

Phloretic CF: Ideal for normal , combination or oily skin.
1. 10% L-ascorbic acid – Vitamin C
2. 2% phloretin – extracted from the root bark of apple trees, protects cells against UVB-mediated phototoxicity.
3. 0.5% ferulic acid – Antioxident extracted from rice bran oil

So which is best for you? C E Ferulic contains more anti-aging benefits, where as Phloreic CF contains more discoloration correction. I will be rotating both, in the warmer months Phloretic CF will be more go to, and in the cooler months I will transition to C F Ferulic. Why not have the best of both worlds?!
