EASY DIY Wellness Shots. Please Subscribe to our channel!

Wellness shots can range anywhere from $2-$9 depending on where you buy them from. These little 2oz shots have amazing health and wellness properties, so we decided to make our own. We drink these daily, but you can drink whenever you need ‘a pick me up’ or feel a cold coming on.

Ingredients – This makes 2 wellness shots 2 oz each.

1/8 cup of finely grated ginger (add more or less depending on your level of spiciness). Ginger is a great anti-inflammatory.
1 Tablespoon of finely grated garlic (add more or less depending on your taste). Garlic combats sickness, which is especially important during flu season.
1/2 a lemon or lime juiced. Lemon’s and Limes are known to help improve your immune system.
1/2 Tablespoon of turmeric and cayenne pepper. Turmeric is an antioxidant/ anti-inflammatory. Cayenne pepper can help reduce pain!
1/2 Teaspoon of black pepper. Black pepper is high in antioxidants and is anti-inflammatory as well.
3 oz of freshly squeezed oranges or substitute OJ like we did to make it easier! Oranges have a lot of Vitamin C. The orange juice also makes the shot a little sweeter.

EXTRAS

⁃You can add a few drops of elderberry syrup (which helps combat sickness).
⁃If you feel like the shot is too strong, top it off with more OJ.
