Rescued Silkie hen is slowly making a recovery from malnutrition and being left in a flock of standard size chickens (in her former home) who basically mowed her over, and wouldn’t let her have any food. The roosters were brutal which caused internal injuries. She also has ingrown feathers on her toes and legs that were removed today. I am not treating her for infection and high doses of vitamins, fish oil and probiotics.
