🍋Vitamin C is well known to boost your immunity. The body uses vitamin C to produce more white blood cells. For those of you that don’t know, white blood cells are the cells which protects our body against foreign substances. It also increases the function of the white blood cells, allowing it to be more efficient in combating against bacteria and viruses.⁣
For an average person, the body needs around 65-90mg of vitamin C every day. To put this in perspective that’s around 1-2 oranges every day. However, there aren’t significant issues if we consume more vitamin C. ⁣

💊 You can take supplements to increase your Vitamin C. Food such as kiwi fruit, mango, pineapples, berries, leafy greens (eg spinach), cabbage type vegetables (broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower) and peppers are all good sources of vitamin C!⁣
