Why glutathione?

Glutathione is found in practically every cell in the human body and in especially high concentration in the liver, lungs and lens of the eye.

Glutathione, in lung epithelial tissue, is normally found as reduced glutathione (the active form) and oxidized glutathione (the inactive form) in a 4:1 ratio in healthy people. For people with chronic lung conditions such as asthma, this ratio drops from 4:1 to 3:2

There is only one known way to boost glutathione levels in lung epithelial tissue and that is through nebulization. It is my hope that by boosting the level of glutathione in the lungs, it’ll help assist the body in fighting off the coronavirus and any secondary infections.

Glutathione also assists in regenerating vitamin C and E

Why did I get into researching glutathione?
