For its Vitamin C products, the brand claims that the ingredient is “encapsulated in it’s own pH” and therefore can still be effective even while being in a solution at a higher pH. I do not know if this is scientifically supported. I have not yet found any studies that show you’d be able to maintain an entirely separate pH level for individual ingredient suspended in an aqueous solution that is at a different pH. I’d be interested to see what the science is behind her brand’s reliance on that claim and if you find any studies on this point, please leave them in the comments!**
