✨SALSA VERDE FROM THE GARDEN✨
Tomatillos are tiny green fruit, more like a berry from Mexico. The Health benefits of this salsa: fiber, prebiotics, Vitamin C, immune boosting sulforaphanes, heavy metal detoxifying herbs, and powerful antioxidants!

Ingredients
1 1/4 lbs tomatillos*, husked
1 jalapeno**, stem removed (before or after roasting)
2/3 cup chopped yellow onion, rinsed under water to remove harsh bite
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
1/2 tsp sugar or substitute, to taste
1 fresh lime juiced
3 Tbsp water, then more as desired

🔆Broil tomatillos and jalapeño at 500 degrees on top rack for 5 minutes on each side.
🔆Blend everything above by pulsing in gently in a food processor until perfect consistency.
💕Serve with eggs, tacos, enchiladas, as an appetizer or with your main course!
