Social distancing requirements mean that we are delivering most of our services at the IFPA, including medical abortion, by telephone consultation. We want our clients to be at ease when they speak to the doctor and to be well-prepared and comfortable about managing an abortion at home. The restrictions on movement, with people staying at home with families, children or housemates, means it can be hard to find a quiet space to take in complex health information. We’ve created a series of four videos to explain how we are delivering early abortion care at the IFPA. Each has subtitles, so you can watch them anywhere in privacy. We’ve also expanded the abortion care section of our website with additional information and added a translation function, so you can read the website in any language. And you can download our medical abortion leaflets in 8 languages.
