Dr. Amol Annadate talks about the rising death rate because of CORONA (COVID-19) virus infection. At this point India and so Maharashtra witnessing an exponential rise in CORONA infected patients. It is very important that we think out of the box and considers advanced and innovative ways to stand strong in this fight. The young veteran did research with data points he collected from domestic and international Doctors, patients. On the basis of his study, he suggests multiple ways to deal with different issues we are facing in this CORONA battle.

– We are in a critical phase of the potential exponential rise of infection
– Monitor Platelet to lymphocyte ratio on day 3,5 and 7, if it turns out to be more than 3. It is important to move the patient to ICU.
– It is observed globally that more deaths are because of incorrect or high ventilator pressure, we must study this issue and set the right expectation for effective treatment. This will also help reducing unfortunate death count.
– A double, single replacement of antibodies (plasma) developed in COVID-19 recovered patients can be done as a part of treatment, Many of the well known Indian Hospitals have already adopted this method. We should make this as a practice this in Maharashtra.
– We should also work on setting up the right policy for early oxygenation and hydroxychloroquine use.
– Dr. Amol Suggests raising the fact with a central government that “vitamin c 150 mg intravenous” is given all over the world but not in India, We must consider this as one of the critical policy.
– We have built many isolation wards, and have cascaded 9 practices of WHO, ICMR to be followed. At ground level, we are missing to make this as mandate. Can we do video Surveillance of these facilities?
– We must consider every doctor as a government servant and enable them to set up a fever, flue OPD.

– Platelet to lymphocyte प्रमाण 3,,5 आणि 7 दिवशी तपासून जर ते 3 पेक्षा जास्त असल्याचे दिसून आले तर रुग्णाला आयसीयूमध्ये हलविणे महत्वाचे आहे.
– जागतिक पातळीवर असे दिसून आले आहे की जास्त मृत्यू चुकीच्या किंवा जास्त व्हेंटिलेटर दबावामुळे होते, आपण या समस्येचा अभ्यास केला पाहिजे आणि प्रभावी उपचारांची योग्य अपेक्षा ठरवली पाहिजे. दुर्दैवी मृत्यूची संख्या कमी करण्यास देखील हे मदत करेल.
– COVID -19 मध्ये बरे झालेल्या रूग्णांची प्लाझ्मा वापरून उपचार हि पद्धत महाराष्ट्रात सुरु केली पाहिजे.
– लवकर ऑक्सिजनेशन आणि हायड्रोक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन (early oxygenation and hydroxychloroquine use.) वापरासाठी योग्य धोरण ठरविण्यावरही आपण कार्य केले पाहिजे.
– डॉ. अमोल यांनी केंद्र सरकारकडे हे तथ्य मांडण्याचे सुचविले की “व्हिटॅमिन सी १ मिलीग्राम इंट्राव्हेनस” संपूर्ण जगात दिले जाते परंतु भारतात नाही, आपण त्यास एक कठोर धोरण म्हणून मानले पाहिजे.
– आम्ही बरेच आयसोलेशन वार्ड बनवले आहेत आणि त्या अनुषंगाने डब्ल्यूएचओ, आयसीएमआरच्या 9 प्रॅक्टिस तयार केल्या आहेत. जमीनी पातळीवर आपण हे सर्व नियम पाळत नाही . या सुविधांबाबत आम्ही पाळत ठेवू शकतो?
– आम्ही प्रत्येक डॉक्टरला सरकारी सेवकाचा विचार केला पाहिजे आणि त्यांना ताप, सेट ओपीडी बसविण्यास सक्षम केले पाहिजे.
