Watermelons contain tons of nutrients!
As far as fruits go, watermelon is one of the lowest in calories. It contains only 46 calories per cup, or per 154 grams. Watermelons also contain a compound called lycopene, which is responsible for giving it its red color. Moreover, researchers have studied the effects of lycopene on the human body, and found that lycopene intake is associated with a lower risk of some types of cancer. Lycopene appears to reduce the risk of cancer by reducing the levels of a compound called, Insulin-like growth factor, or IGF, which is responsible for increasing the number of cancer cells in the body.

Also, Watermelons are good for skin and hair.
The two main vitamins present in watermelons, which are vitamin A and Vitamin C, are responsible for improving skin and hair condition.
