There are concerns for Victorian health workers after five staff members at the Royal Children’s Hospital tested positive for COVID-19 with seven others placed into isolation.
The number of medical personnel who have become sick or placed into quarantine due to coronavirus now numbers well above 100.
The state recorded 238 cases overnight as well as the death of a woman in her 90s – the third in 24 hours.
No patients were affected.
