Pata Yamaha Coronavirus Countermeasures

The Pata Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team were back in action during two days of testing at Circuit Barcelona Catalunya, almost four months after the coronavirus pandemic brought a halt to racing. To safeguard the health and wellbeing of both riders and team members, Yamaha implemented a strict safety protocol to reduce the risk of infection and transmission of coronavirus. The protocol made for a very different working environment, but one that the riders, mechanics and engineers accepted as necessary to ensure racing could be resumed with the minimum of risk. It was challenging, but team members adapted quickly to the new regime and were able to complete the two-day test program with a minimum of disruption.
