This is a short video explaining “The 4 Pillars of Health.” It’s part 3 of 3 of a series of episodes I did explaining how you could unlock your genome and regain health and vibrancy. Part 1 and Part 2 focus on eliminating vegetable oils and sugar from your diet. This part tells you the type of diet you should focus on and some general principles or fundamentals you should consider when trying to eat healthy for your body. There is a longer podcast episode that goes into greater detail, but this short video covers the basic principles (and for more information, if you really want to geek out, read Dr Catharine Shanahans book, Deep Nutrition). Here are some of the major ideas from this video:

– There is one human diet that has the potential to provide optimal nutrition, no matter our race
– The Human Diet is not defined using long lists of acceptable and forbidden foods, but rather by a set of strategies.
– Four strategies, which I define as the Four Pillars of the Human Diet, unify all traditional diets.
– The best chefs use all four strategies which is why I say chefs are the original nutritionists.
– The modern America diet employs only one of these four strategies, the use of fresh foods
