During a press briefing in New Delhi about India’s Covid-19 situation Thursday, Rajesh Bhushan, Secretary, Ministry of Health said recovery rate increased from 7.85% in April to over 64% now. Sixteen states of the country have a recovery rate that is more than the national average, he added. He also said herd immunity in a country of the size and population of India was not viable.
