About Be Beautethical:
Given a choice, I’m sure a lot of us would want to buy 100% cruelty free products and brands. However, most of the time, we don’t know which brands are cruelty free. Neither do we have the time to do a detailed research on brands and products before purchasing. So let us make it easier for us to make our shift towards being cruelty free. I believe in starting small. Take one step at a time. Switch out one product at a time. Together we can work towards eliminating animal testing from the cosmetic industry. And, believe me, one step at a time is all it takes. Animals are not ours to torture or experiment on. Each and every person who makes a conscious switch to cruelty free brands, adds to the overall efforts. You might think that your one step is just a drop in the ocean, but remember – Little drops of water make the mighty ocean. Each drop is important.
I believe we humans are not so cruel so as to kill and torture an animal for an ingredient of our lipstick or mascara. Especially where there are other more accurate methods available for testing them for safe human use. Over 115 million animals are used worldwide annually in experimentation. Let’s try to bring down this number as much as we can. One step at a time. So let’s take our first step towards a cruelty free beauty world!
HOW CAN WE CONTRIBUTE IN THE EASIEST WAY TOWARDS THIS CAUSE?
The easiest way to contribute to this cause is to buy cruelty free! Purchase only products and brands that are 100% cruelty free. If all of us start doing this, it will send a clear message to the brands that there is more demand for cruelty free products and brands, and therefore more profit for them in that space. Because unfortunately, some brands (which are still not cruelty free) only care about profits!
