A new study that analysed the Coronavirus outbreak in Brazil, has found a link between the spread of the virus and past outbreaks of dengue fever. Suggesting exposure to the illness may provide some level of immunity against Covid-19. As the race to try and find a vaccine continues, Germany’s top biotech companies and clinics are rushing to come up with a vaccine to defeat the novel Coronavirus. Some are already carrying out human testing, after the lengthy approval process was sped up. Because the stakes couldn’t be higher, are we being hasty in trying to find a vaccine, placing quantity over quality?
