I was worried that the new labeling for the Thorne D-1000 capsules no longer had “Vegetarian Capsules” on the front of the bottle (see old bottle on the left and the new bottle on the right in the picture).
I chatted with a Thorne representative on their website and she assured me that the Thorne D-1000 capsules with the redesigned labeling were still vegetarian.
I asked her why they removed the “vegetarian” designation from the redesigned label and she said that it was confusing customers into believing that Thorne’s whole product line was vegetarian (which she said isn’t the case).
So there you have it. This particular D-1000 product is indeed “vegetarian” (though it is not vegan as explained in the product questions above).
a little expensive but it remains the best brands of vitamins.
Great probiotic pill. No taste or smell. Easy to swallow. I take it first thing in the morning after my hot water and lemon. Helps regulate healthy digestion all day and boost immune system. Especially necessary for the holiday season.
