Meet Maryam Latif, of the winners of the COVID19 Youth Innovation Challenge. The challenge is aimed at engaging young people in creating solutions to lessen the impact of the pandemic in Malawi. The challenge was launched by UNICEF Malawi and Segal Family Foundation. The innovators went through a 21 day business incubation programme with Malawi’s top Hubs: mHub, Mzuzu E-Hub and Dzuka Africa Organization; to refine their ideas into business ideas with market ready business models.

Maryam has been supported with USD2,000 to develop and deploy a task management system that keeps people with low immune system home and provides an income generation opportunity for young people.
