Our immune system is very well designed to protect us from many kinds of foreign invaders. Here are five things we can do to help it operate in a more efficient way.

1) Exercise for 30 minutes every day. Go for a walk, run, cycle, put a 30 minute exercise video on YouTube.

2)Improve by your healthy eating. Make sure that half of all the food you eat every day it is raw fruit and vegetables. This will provide you with all the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, fibre, that you need for optimum health. If you eat this you will not have to take vitamin pills and other supplements.
3) Drink plenty of water. Make sure you have water bottles everywhere around you, at home, at work, in your car.
4) Try to identify, reduce, minimise stress in your life. Exercise always helps, and so does meditation, yoga, tai chi, breathing exercises.
It is worth investing some time to study and understand how stress works and what you can do to eliminate it from your life.
5) Make sure you get plenty of good quality sleep every day. If your sleeping is problematic then you may have to invest some time to study about sleep. In any case try to avoid sleeping pills and supplements. It is a matter of educating yourself.There are some great books and many videos on YouTube about how to improve your sleep.
