is Corona Virus Vaccine ?
Basic principle of a vaccine is to inject a part of the virus into human body and train our immune cells and prepare antibodies ahead to fight with real virus exposure in future. To develop latest corona virus vaccine, first researchers did genetic sequencing of the virus and identify the protein responsible for illness. This virus has several proteins in its structure. One of them is spike (S) protein. This is the key protein and is responsible for the virus to enter human cells and cause illness. Researchers made mRNA of this spike protein. Basically, DNA makes RNA and RNA makes proteins inside cells.
The developed RNA makes corona virus spike protein in human cells and degrades. Now the spike protein generates limited immune response in human body because it is not complete virus but a part of the virus. This virus spike protein activates immune cells in controlled fashion and our body makes antibodies to fight with future corona virus infection.
