In this video I show you my morning skincare routine. I always use a lot of vitamin C in my morning routine because it’s one of the single most important ingredients you can use in your skincare routine. It”s a powerful antioxidant and when stable, protects you from the sun!
I use a vitamin C toner, the EmerginC Peach Toner, and always apply a vitamin C serum as well. In this video, I used the Lumene Valo Nordic-C Arctic Berry Oil-Cocktail.
Overall, so far I like this serum. I will continue to use it and see how I like it after that. It says the form of vitamin C in it is stable, and the fact that it has vitamin E in it(which helps to stabilize vitamin C in skincare products) reassures the aforementioned. It has some wonderful ingredients in it including vitamin C, A, B3, B5, and E, squalane, glycerin, lingonberry, cloudberry, and cranberry oil, antioxidants, niacinamide, linoleic acid, oleic acid, and ascorbic acid(vitamin C). Going forward, I will probably apply my Fiery Youth Vitamin C serum under this one because it has hyaluronic acid in it and this doesn’t. Plus it contains a very stable for of vitamin C. My skin will be full of vitamin C between the toner and both serums:)
My only issue is that there are some colorants at the very bottom of the ingredient list. Not a huge deal, but I would have personally used a natural colorant instead. Also, the vitamin C could have been higher up in the ingredient list. Another issue is that the product is in a clear bottle. This is bad for a few reasons. Any serum or facial product should typically be in some sort of colored or plastic bottle as to avoid the product oxidizing from light. I make sure to keep my skincare products in an area in my bathroom where there is the least light exposure. For the full review, watch the video.
