Boost your immune system to fight the coronavirus: how to improve your immunity.

A lot of us are in quarantine during this Coronavirus outbreak.
During these times, you might be wondering how to prevent being infected, if there are ways to fight against the virus, or how to have a healthy immune system
There are no miracle cures, foods, or supplements against the virus. The tips I’m going to give you may help boost your immune system and put you in optimal conditions, but they are not automatically going to prevent you from getting the virus.
It’s very important that you stay at home, practice social distancing, and wash your hands very frequently as well.
That being said, here are some tips on how to boost your immune system!
First of all, you need to eat the best foods to boost your immune system. Eat plenty of fruit and veggies, don’t hesitate to go for frozen options, get plenty of antioxidants, take care of your gut health, and don’t forget herbs and spices!
You also need to exercise even if you are unable to go to the gym. Exercise in your backyard or watch a YouTube video to get moving from home!
It’s also important to get enough sleep for an optimal immune system. If you’re working from home, seize this as an opportunity to sleep in a bit later. Make sure that you also use this time indoors to rest and to do mindful activities. This will help you recharge and keep your stress levels down, which is important for optimal immunity.
Some of you may be tempted to consume a bunch of supplements to try to boost your immune system. However, if you’re eating correctly and getting in fruit and/or veggies at every meal, they shouldn’t be necessary, apart from vitamin D.
Now you know how to boost immunity!
Stay safe!
