https://amaregenmed.com My name is Ashley, I am from Canada. I am also a nurse. I was diagnosed with COVID-19 in March of 2020. It took me about 20 days to be able to get back to work because I was quite sick. Headaches, almost instant joint pain. You don’t usually develop arthritic symptoms overnight at 28 years old. Extraordinary body aches. Nothing like I really ever felt before.
However, at the time, if you didn’t have a fever, you basically didn’t have COVID. So after 20 or 21 days I was able to go back to the United and return to work.
I was experiencing long haul symptoms. I just didn’t feel quite right. My hands were the most distinct symptom that I had. I could hardly open my left hand without it being painful. It was interesting that no anti-inflammatories would ever work. What’s different? What’s creating the inflammation that this medication isn’t working. I also had headaches, joint pain and fatigue. Those are things that I was struggling with.
I did have hesitancy taking the vaccine and there was no pressure at the beginning. And then our health authorities came down hard on us and we would no longer be able to work unless we got vaccinated.
Within 24 hours I felt like I had COVID again. Right when I was vaccinated, instantaneously, my joint pain came back. My muscles around my eyes were twitching, my eyelid was twitching. From my mid-back to the base of my skull was just fire. I stopped menstruating. So the one thing I was fearful of happened. It’s like having the worst flu of your life every single day. I was mainly bedridden, had to resign from my dream job. It was the worst day of my life.
I actually got to a point where I thought, I may die. This is… insane.
I was looking for an integrative approach and a clinic that I felt comfortable at. I drove all the way down from Canada. Initially, I tried the EBOO and the hyperbaric chambers and vitamin bags.
Then I couldn’t get enough of you guys so I kept on coming from Canada and this is like my fish trip or something like that. I started having long periods of time without being symptomatic and that’s when I started getting excited again. I wasn’t feeling so ill anymore and I would say by January of this year (2023) I was actually able to go to the gym and start living my life again… Holly!!!
It just gives you a whole new perspective on life. It’s more than worth it. It’s something I tell other patients that I meet is truly your healing is not linear. You are all over the map. You will sometimes get worse, way worse, before you get better. The treatments, they are working, but you have to stay on it. I wouldn’t be here today as healthy as I am and it made all of that effort, all of that work, all the money. It’s more than worth it.
I couldn’t imagine still being in my bed.
I have the energy, my brain, I’m sharp, my vocabulary is back… I’m back!
