ELF Cosmetics has overall been a pretty impressive budget brand that makes several products which I would consider either very similar or a dupe for much higher end brands. Some E.L.F. products are great and some are just so-so. The new E.L.F. COSMETICS Beauty Shield Vitamin C Pollution Prevention Serum is overall a decent vitamin c serum. What I dislike about it is the fragrance, however, it does dissipate by the first hour of wear. The other thing that I was nervous about was the use of so many ingredients that can potentially cause acne, I didn’t have any issues in my two months using this but I have read reviews from others who have had breakouts attributed to this product. If you have no issues with fragrance, have dry or dehydrated skin, and are not prone to breakouts this is a good and affordable vitamin c serum to try.
