especially a multivitamin i would recommend a multivitamin to anybody i think that sounds great but if someone was telling me specifically that they supplement with vitamin E that’s great i’ve told you that there’s big implications for that as well as specifically for athletes I’ve already mentioned iron and calcium iron and calcium are common to be deficient in or rather I should say if you are an athlete it is common for your needs for iron and calcium to be a little higher especially if you’re playing a higher impact sport where you’re jumping or sprinting around you might need extra calcium and definitely if you’re participating in an endurance sport like soccer or cross country you’re even things like swimming you might be interested in supplementing with extra iron so that you will have the endurance the hemoglobin production the red blood cell transportation of oxygen everything going on there so that you can have proper endurance
