hi i’m dr say together with watson’s get active stay healthy today i’ll be sharing some tips on how you can keep your immunity strong [Music] it is very important that we have a strong immunity nowadays due to our current condition and if we have a strong immunity we can walk off any diseases and we can prevent ourselves from getting sick if you notice as we advances in age it takes longer time for us to recover and usually from one sickness or type of disease could lead to other complications this is because as we advances in age our immune system dropped eating a healthy balanced diet is essential for healthy immune system some of the important nutrients include a c and e including protein and zinc are very crucial to keep our immunity strong you can get all this from vegetables fruits lean proteins whole grains nuts and beans however i know that it is not easy to get all of the nutrients from the food that we eat hence supplementation is key supplementation is vital in keeping our immunity strong keeping our body hydrated is also crucial for healthy immune system as we age we may lose some of sense of this so set reminder for yourself or your parents if you tend to skip drinking water throughout the day as we all know water helps to move all the nutrients throughout our body and it also helps to eliminate toxin and waste when our body is well hydrated somehow we do feel the energy and we do feel enlightened not only does water do good for our body but it also do good for our mental and also physical well-being stress is also another contributing factor to our immune health being exposed to long-term stress dampens our immune system and you’ll notice people who are under chronic stress falsely often easily besides this stress also causes us to have poor quality of sleep and lack of proper rest lowers our immunity as our body don’t get to recover properly we can try activities such as deep breathing meditating or even yoga elders who are lonely they can always connect with people that they love express themselves rather than keeping it to themselves you may also consider taking some supplements to help combat stress and promote better sleeping if you have insomnia that’s all for the sharing remember do take good care of yourself but most importantly take good care of our parents as they have always been there when we meet them most so this is the time for us to treat them like how they treat us thank you
