hi everybody welcome back to my channel if you’re new welcome my name is Cla i’ve been shopping in Holland Barrett in Cardiff i was kindly invited by the Holland Bar social media team to go to Cardiff it was the start of the summer sale online and in store so think two for the price of one or three for twos half price products or buy one get one half price i’ll add all the information down below in my description so you’re welcome to check it out the Holland Barrett Cardiff store is really really great i was again kindly invited a couple of weeks ago to their opening and it’s so amazing it’s unlike any Holland Barrett store I’ve ever been it’s an experience store so it’s bigger they’ve got lots of staff helping you to choose products that can guide you there’s a fitness studio in the back and they do a randox blood testing which is brilliant it is so so good i use Randox Health myself if you see my discount codes and offers to websites down below in the description or my videos I’ve mentioned Randox there because it is so good and really affordable compared to other places even though I shouldn’t have to pay privately to have my bloods tested i should have it on the NHS but doctors and labs won’t always do what I want them to do so I use Randox often but yeah this Holland Barrett in Cardiff actually does it for you there so you go in pay choose what test you want and then they send off your blood sample then you get sent an email with your results yeah I love it so anyway they asked me if I’d be interested in coming up on the start of their sales and I thought “Yeah why not?” Me and my daughter wanted to come up to Cardiff anyway we’re going to Cypress soon so we wanted to come up do a bit of shopping i live in Pemrochshire which is the back of Beyond there’s no there’s no no really good shops where we live at all there is a small island in Barrett though but besides that we thought no it’ll be a perfect opportunity for us to go shopping and get holiday bits and pieces i have got a bag full it came altogether to about 78 pound but it would have cost me over £100 so a really good saving because it was the first day of the sales they had a DJ playing music they had like a matcher bar set up so you could go and have a matcha drink and yeah it’s just it’s just so nice i really do like it there so I’m going to get everything out some of this is for my daughter as well and some things you will already know I love because I do talk about it quite a bit love these little bags as well you can buy them for like I think they’re £150 but no I like them look at my receipts i was on a lookout for dandelion tea i’ve heard of all the huge health benefits for it and I thought right okay this is my opportunity to go and have a look my daughter found these two she loves herbal teas absolutely loves them so she wanted this one this is Twinings detox lemon and ginger with bock root fennel so I have recently found out well I say recently but I had genetics testing about a year or two ago and I found out that I’ve got the MTHFR gene and I’ve got the two I’m just learning about it so I can’t go into full detail but basically it means I’m compromised my detox pathways aren’t that great and it means I have trouble with um dopamine which makes sense as I have ADHD but also I have trouble regulating B vitamins as well and I’ve heard that dandelion is supposed to help with the detoxing process and because I love my sauners and everything I thought yeah it’ be perfect so she she’s got this one she loves ginger i can’t stand ginger unfortunately so she’ll be having that one so the Twinings one cost two pound 53 and it was like a pound off and then I went for this one this is organic dandelion a bock and horse throw on i haven’t tried dandelion and bock since I was a kid i remember having little cans of pop of dandelion and bock and I loved it weird how you just don’t see it anymore but then I suppose it’s years and years ago isn’t it so naturally caffeine-free 20 tea bags in there haven’t tried it don’t know what it’s like hopefully I’ll like it this was £263 and again another saving of about 90p so I got two TE’s next I got my favorite natural deodorant ever and I’ve got it in the most amazing smell as well and I haven’t just got one I’ve got two because they were buy one get one half price I think so anyway it’s not that clear on my receipt they were around £750 each and I got them for £5 each however the maths add up and all that so this is salt of the earth 100% natural origin and it’s melon and cucumber it is gorgeous i haven’t tried this before but as soon as I left Holland and Barrett I had a good sniff and I love it it’s just natural deodorant it’s refillable as well obviously vegan and cruelty-free there’s 100 ms there now I used to have like a lovehate relationship with natural deodorants and a lot of them caused me to have BO which I’ve never really suffered with before yes you know I sweat now and again but I’ve never really noticed i was telling my friend yeah maybe I haven’t noticed i stink of BO but maybe other people have noticed i don’t know but anyway I did notice whenever I use like Wild for instance you know which also sells in Holland and Barrett and I do like it gorgeous casin but I do smell a BO when I use it this is completely different even my daughter loves it because I’ve had a few different ones now a gorgeous one is Naroli you can’t get it in shop I don’t think but you can get it online i love Naroli it’s like an orange blossom it’s beautiful it’s just a body spray spray it under my armpits smells amazing i can just smell it now doesn’t leave a sticky residue or anything it dries pretty quickly and it is fine it is so so good yeah definitely recommend getting these or trying them if you can this wasn’t on offer but I think it might be part of the three for two i can’t see it down here so I might I’ve got that wrong plus I’ve got another product here which hasn’t got sales on it so maybe maybe not everything is on sale i love this i’ve been having this for the last 18 months it’s my protein it’s a clear whey protein powder in watermelon flavor my protein do loads and loads and loads of flavors i like mjito as well that is gorgeous but it’s a little bit on the sweet side i just love watermelon and yeah I’ve just stuck with it this is 250 g it costs £15 now I don’t know how many scoops you can get out of here but inside there is a scoop fill that scoop up and then you get 20 g of protein clear protein powder i cannot stand the non-clear ones i cannot stand the texture of them i’ve tried them in yogurts i’ve tried them in smoothies i just don’t like it at all but the clear ones is just like drinking squash you know when you mix like a fruit juice in with water exactly like that no texture issues whatsoever and it tastes really nice so every day I have like an amino acid concoction it helps with my polycystic ovary syndrome basically full of different amino acids like anositol lcarnitine elenine uh tyroine what else have I got el glutamine what else have I got there i can’t think now oh also fiber cuz I take Benjaro mjara is known for obviously slowing down your digest digestion which can cause constipation i’m lucky i haven’t been too bad i’ve been on Mjara now for nearly 10 months i haven’t been too bad with it at all but I do like to have some fiber powder put in as well which is tasteless can’t even notice it and then I put this in so I’m getting a shot of protein in there 20 g of protein i make sure daily I’m eating over 100 grams minimum of protein a day i mix it all together in about a liter bottle of water and then I’ll just sip that throughout the morning then but no I love this i absolutely love it if you’re looking for a way of adding protein into your diet then this is the way to go if you’ve got a thing with texture normally I don’t on to this then oh I can’t wait to try this this is Dose and Co and this is a collagen creamer now you all know that I have problems with collagen it all tastes disgusting i try and I try and put different collagen like liquids and powders and things in with my amino acid drink that I put this whey powder in no I can still taste it it just tastes really strong it’s like I I really don’t like it so I was advised to try this you know I’m a middle-aged woman i’ve lost three stone in weight my skin is not doing what it’s supposed to do or what it did when I was in my 20ies i lost 10 stone when I was in my early 20ies the skin shrunk back normal a little bit blobby on the belly because I had um a baby and my underarms i don’t my underarms i’ve never liked my underarms but the rest of me completely fine but no not now lose three stone and I’m left with really saggy skin obviously exercise is going to help plus you’re the first to know this i have booked in for cosmetic surgery i’m going to Nord’s Aesthetics a cosmetic surgery clinic in Lithuania in October to have my bingo wings gone oh and an armpit lift as well it’s all booked i’ve booked my deposit i am doing a separate video on that so I’ll let you know all about that but um yeah so basically I’m just talking too much I know cream a creamer a collagen creamer now I’ve been advised to put this in coffee and it’s got a caramel taste in my mind I just think I’m just going to be drinking fish flavored coffee but hopefully not there’s 10 grams of collagen per serving it’s supposed to be great for hair nails and skin improves skin elasticity and decreases appearance of wrinkles this is a little bit more this was £27.99 i just really hope I like it if I have a strong enough coffee then yeah I’m um I’m guessing that it’ll be all right but no if you’ve tried it please let me know what you think i love this faith in nature i really really love this hand wash it’s huge it cost £34 and I’ve saved 165 it’s an energizing hand wash but with grapefruit and orange and it’s 400 ms here so a nice massive one it is so uplifting and beautiful i can’t remember where I got it i think I got it in a beauty box that’s the first time I know I had it oh I love it it’s so good so fruity and fresh massive hand wash there next I’ve got this is Bach original flower remedies these are rescue pastels so soothing pastels alcohol-free black currant flavor and these were they cost £6.19 but I saved £26p so soothing black currant flavor pastels with flour essence and sweetener to soothe and calm reduce anxiety it’s supposed to help with calming d-stressing and yeah my daughter wanted these and then I’ve got two supplements left i’ll just find out how much they cost so I’ve got some vitamin C they cost me £45p and I saved £2.70 and this is high strength vitamin C 1,000 micrograms immunity and there’s 60 tablets here so it’s going to last me like 2 months so really good price again vitamin C thinking of detoxing the body helping my dodgy jeans helping my immunity i used to take vitamin C all the time but I just got out with a habit of taking it but yeah it makes sense to take it i’ve got to research though about how much I actually need maybe I should start off with 500 micrograms to start but yeah no I’m glad I got them and then I’ve got vitamin B6 there’s puradoxine 100 micrograms and there’s 120 here so these last for months and I only take one a day how much do they cost me b6 cost me £3.72 and I saved £43p the reason I need B6 because I’ve got issues with my B vitamins even before I found out about my genetics i have always struggled with my vitamin B12 i’ve even had three courses of injections over 6 weeks to try and bump up my B12 and I didn’t feel no different which is so weird it is like really weird fair enough not feeling anything after the first one but surely a second one and definitely the third one you’d think whoa you know feel a lot more energetic less lethargic no I didn’t feel no different so there’s obviously issues going on there my folate as well always had low folate could not understand why and B6 I’ve never taken before so I’m guessing I’ve got issues with that too maybe I didn’t want to get a high high one but this is 100 micrograms i’m going to have to look into seeing whether this is a bit too high for me to start off with the advice is to go on to methylated B vitamins i have tried that and within 20 minutes I am violently projectile vomiting i’ve never experienced anything so horrible and so weird in my life so I that’s when I’ve done a little bit more research and apparently because I’ve got the two there’s an SNP which begins with a C and there’s one begin with an A and that’s as far as I know it’s connected to having the MTHFR gene is something called slow comp so sorry if I’m really making no sense but because of that I can have I can overflood my system if I do things too fast so I’m not taking high strength metalated B vitamins ever again and it was oh my god it did I did it three times just to be sure and I thought no I can’t do it so this is why I’ve just gone for basic B6 but anyway I’m really sorry if I’m going on and on and on if I’m boring you that is why
